The new version of draft technical regulation on electronic signatures in Italy has been published on the Digit PA website, after the revisions made following the public consultation. The draft regulation can be read here.
Moreover, on August 5, 2011 new draft technical rules have also been published. They relate to electronic documents, document management and archiving of electronic documents.
The text contains “the technical requirements for creation, transmission, storage, copying, duplication, reproduction and time stamping of electronic documents, creation and retention of documents in public administration, and management of electronic files”.
Following the practice already in use, the draft shall be submitted to public comment. Until the September 10, 2011 will be possible to send comments to: dlcad@digitpa.gov.it
